Clary Sage Essential oil, USA


Clary Sage Essential Oil (Salvia sclarea) has a scent that has a tendency to grow on a person through repeated exposure. The upper notes are sweet herbal with linalyacetate-linalool notes. The lower notes are tea like with tobacco nuances.

Other information: My personal experience with this essential oil has been very positive. I used it (diluted 1% in a mix of jojoba and sweet almond oil, rubbed over my baby bump) in the last couple weeks of pregnancy and while I was in labour. It lowered my discomfort level. The scent is an acquired aroma, but it grows on you.
