Aromatic Description: Clove Bud oil, Super, Madagascar has a spicy, pleasant aroma. It is warm, sweet, peppery and candy-like. The scent is similar to the common household spice.
Blends well with: Clove Bud blends well with other spice oils including Cinnamon Bark, and Nutmeg. It also compliments Citronella, Grapefruit, Lemon, Orange, Peppermint, Rosemary, and Rose.
Safety precautions: Clove Oil is a mucous membrane and dermal irritant. Avoid Clove Oil in alcoholism, in haemophilia, in prostatic cancer, with kidney and liver problems and if taking anticoagulants. Use less than 1% dilution. Clove Bud is less hazardous than the stem or leaf.
Common Uses: Arthritis, asthma, bronchitis, rheumatism, sprains, strains, toothache. In skin care it aids in the discomfort of acne, fungal infections, and is added to insect repellant.
