Aromatic Description: Cornmint oil, India has a clean penetrating scent with a strong menthol kick. It lacks the sweetness of peppermint and the earthiness of pennyroyal but it is warm and pleasant.
Blends well with: benzoin, rosemary, lavender, marjoram, lemon, eucalyptus, and other mints.
Safety precautions: Dermal irritant. Avoid contact with eyes. Possible sensitization due to high menthol content. Do not use on infants! Fine at low doses for pregnancy.
Common Uses: Anesthetic, antimicrobial, antiseptic, antispasmodic, carminative, cytotoxic, digestive, expectorant, stimulant, stomachic.
Other information: Cornmint has a higher menthol content than Peppermint.
