Other information: Constituents include Pinene, myrcene, limonene, cymene, camphene, terpineol, borneol, thujone, esters and variations of other components. Numerous unique olfactory properties are present in Juniperberry oils depending on the country of origin, distillation techniques, and raw material. Distillations in Italy have produced over two percent yields but other regions tend to yield close to one percent, plus or minus a half a percent. Juniperberry oil is used frequently in European liquors.
