Aromatic Description: Less camphoreous than the Eastern European variety, but not as floral as our other varieties.
Blends well with: Bay, Bergamot, Chamomile, Citronella, Clary Sage, Geranium, Jasmine, Lemon, Mandarin, Orange, Palmarosa, Patchouli, Pine, Thyme, Rosemary, Rosewood and Ylang-ylang.
Safety precautions: Non-toxic, non-irritant and generally non-sensitizing. Non-hazardous in pregnancy.
Common Uses: Acne, allergies, anxiety, asthma, athlete's foot, bruises, burns, chicken pox, colic, cuts, cystitis, depression, dermatitis, dysmenorrhea, earache, flatulence, headache, hypertension, insect bites, insect repellant, itching, labor pains, migrane, oily skin, rheumatism, scabies, scars, sores, sprains, strains, stress, stretch marks, vertigo, whooping cough.
Other information: “40/42” refers to a combination of natural lavender oils (and/or synthetic chemicals – linalyl acetate, linalool) to produce one with linalyl acetate and linalool that approaches a 40/42% standard. There is no difference in chemical composition of the natural because cloning has produced a less hybrid vigor.
