Coco SilkyCleanse™ is an exceptionally mild, amphoteric surfactant that is ideal for sensitive skin, baby skin, and facial products. This natural surfactant will not strip skin or hair of natural oils.

Coco SilkyCleanse™ has a lovely silky-soft feel after rinse-off. For most formulas, we recommended adjusting the finished pH to neutral or slightly acidic. For use in shampoos and body wash where optimum foam is desired, combine with another surfactant such as Cocoglucoside SS, Cocoglucoside ET, Plantaren, Cocamidopropyl Betaine or other natural surfactants for a mild high foaming blend. This natural surfactant is derived from coconut oil.

Format:  Brown clear liquid.

Common Uses:  This mild amphoteric surfacant functions as a secondary surfactant, foam booster, viscosity builder, and is compatible with anionic, nonionic, and cationic surfactants. It is used in bubble baths, body washes, shampoos, baby products, pet shampoos, hand soaps, facial washes, shower gels, and ethnic products.

Usage Rate: 1-50%

Manufacturer Safety Precautions:

• Normal safety precautions (i.e. gloves and safety goggles) should be employed when handling 

  this product in its concentrated form. Contact with the eyes and prolonged contact with the skin should be avoided.  Wash thoroughly after handling material. 

  • It is recommended that this product be stored in sealed containers and kept at temperatures between 50°F (10°C) and 120°F (49°C).  Avoid overheating or freezing.  If material is frozen, mild heat and agitation are recommended to ensure the material is homogeneous before use.
