Wheat germ oil offers softening, moisturizing, anti-inflammatory and anti-itching benefits.  Generally, not used on it's own as it leaves a sticky finish, wheatgerm oil is an excellent addition to formulations that use quick to rancid oils as it's high content of Vitamin E helps to lengthen shelf life.

Aroma:  Little to none.

Colour:  Amber.

Consistency:  Light, non-greasy oil.  

Usage Rates: Up to 10%.

INCI: Tricium vulgare (wheat germ) oil

Shelf Life: 12 months, when stored in a cool, dark, dry location.  It is sensitive to heat and light, so keep this in mind when storing it.
