Raw Gold™ Shea Butter is a really raw shea butter that is the most natural form you can acquire.  It is used primarily for healing purposes and thus works wonders in healing balms, lotions and other leave on products. It is assumed to contain 10-17% unsaponiables in the form of cinnamic acid.  It has a thicker and fuller texture than other shea butters, but is very soft at the same time. It is openly reported that this type of shea butter may heal eczema and skin related disorders. Adding essential oil and vitamin E to the pure butter makes a wonderfully moisturizing product.  

Usage rate:  Up to 100% of your formula.

Randi's Comments: This has got to be the creamiest, smoothest, most unbelievable Shea I have come across. I am switching all of my recipes to this one. This batch does have a bright gold colour and the scent is fantastic (provided you like Shea)! Beautiful stuff! If colour and scent (it is highly fragrant) is not a concern, go with this over the natural!
