Aromatic Description:   Benzoin has a vanilla scent that is considered warm and sweet.

Blends well with:   bergamot, coriander, frankincense, juniper, lavender, lemon, myrrh, orange, petitgrain, rose, sandalwood.

Safety precautions:  Non-toxic, non-irritant, possible strong sensitizer.  Avoid on sensitive skin, may get short term healing with permanent sensitization. 

Common Uses:   Said to have powerful strong healing effects, chapped inflamed, irritated skin, bruises, wounds, scars, ulcers, cuts, acne, minor burns.  Benzoin is often used as a fixative in perfumery. 

Other information:   Not a true essential oil as it has been solvent extracted.
