Coconut Oil 76 Degree Premium

Coconut Oil 76 Premium is a high quality refined coconut oil, product of a community-based project. The oil is extracted from freshly dried coconut meat without the use of chemicals or high temperature, a derivative technology of the virgin oil process. In liquid form it is water-clear, light viscosity oil with a very subtle coconut aroma. It is very suitable as a base oil in flavour and fragrance formulation. This oil is a good choice for natural soaps.
And for those of you that are knowledge junkies:
What are the differences between commercial (copra) oil and premium grade coconut oil?
On most accounts, premium grade coconut oils are fresh, natural, and wholesome. The oil is recovered within hours after opening the coconuts while copra oil takes at least 1.5 months. Premium Grade oil is more expensive than crude oil as most premium oils use only selected raw materials, and experience lower production yield as there is only one pressing.
So when you wonder why our coconut oil is more expensive than other vendors... the answer is the above.
Aroma: Little to none.
Colour: Clear when liquid, White when solid.
Consistency: Solid at temperatures below 76 degrees fahrenheit (hence the reason it is called coconut oil 76), liquid at temperatures above.
Common Uses: Mostly this variety of coconut oil is used in soap as overuse in lotions and creams can be drying to the skin. It can be used at a small percentage in balms, lotions, creams and hair care.
INCI: Cocos nucifera (coconut) seed oil
Shelf Life: Our coconut oil has a shelf life of two years or better when stored in a cool, dark place. This may not be the same for all suppliers as it depends on the grade. The higher the grade, the longer the shelf life..
