Store Policies (Effective January 18, 2012)

 

By placing an order with Creations from Eden Inc you are agreeing to the following conditions :

 

  1. We do not have a minimum purchase value. No order is too small for us to fill, however due to increased costs we now have to charge a $10.00 small order fee on all orders under a minimum of $25 (the $25 is after all discounts and before taxes and shipping).  Please see additions to orders (#7) for how to handle last minute items that may have been forgotten in the first order.  Please understand that orders under $25 result in an increase to our costs due to the labour and cost to process and to ensure we do not have to increase our pricing across all items to offset these charges, we must implement this fee.  
  2. All orders that we receive via on-line ordering, email, or phone we will do our best to process within 48 business hours. Please note that under normal circumstances we are able to follow this time line, but we do not guarantee it. During the busy season, (September 1-Dec 21) orders may require a 2-3 day processing delay due to the volume of orders that we process.
  3. We do not charge any type of handling fees. You pay exactly the shipping charges for the actual weight of your merchandise.
  4. Sometimes our shopping cart calculates the wrong shipping cost. In this event Creations from Eden Inc will either refund the difference or send an invoice for the added cost.
  5. We do not Back Order Merchandise. If we receive an order that has items which are out of stock , we will contact you via email to let you know what the item is, and we will credit your credit card or PayPal account for the amount of the out of stock merchandise. All out of stock items will have to be reordered. Please note that our website inventory levels must be manually adjusted and sometimes are not updated to reflect our actual inventory levels.
  6. Orders are filled on a first-come first served basis. If you need an order rushed, a fee of $20.00 will be applied to bump it to the front of the line.
  7. Additions to orders: If you wish to add to your order, you may do so by submitting an additional order (please reference the first order when doing so and indicate in the comments field it is an order addition so we can waive the small order fee), however your entire order will be pushed to the queue number that the last order was placed.  If your first order has been updated to "processing" we may no longer be able to add to it, if it has been packed for shipping.    
  8. New Customers and Cash/Cheque Payments: Due to the increase in people not showing up to pick up their cash and carry orders, all new customers are required to provide us with prepayment or supply us with a credit card number. If supplying a credit card number, we will process your card in the event your order is not picked up on the date and time scheduled in accordance with policy 9 below. This rule does not apply to existing customers that have a proven track record with Creations from Eden Inc. Please note: we do not store credit card information in our system. Once the card has been processed or the customer has picked up their order, all credit card information is immediately destroyed. We regret that we do have to implement this policy.
  9. Order Cancellations and Failed Pickups: Orders (and individual items) cancelled after they have been filled will be charged a 20% restocking fee. This will also apply to failed pickups where the customer does not contact us with a pickup date (after the first week) or make arrangements to pick up their order after Creations from Eden Inc attempts to make initial contact.
  10. All sales are final. We recommend that you try sample sizes first. For sanitary reasons, we cannot take items back nor resell most of our products. We also do not offer any type of exchanges. Creations from Eden Inc is not responsible for any products or equipment you used when making your products. We will not reimburse customers for raw ingredients used in finished products. If a product is defective, we will provide a prompt refund.
  11. All Canadian customers pay GST.
